The short answer is to ensure high quality continuing education and establish excellence for medical professionals in the field of medical cosmetics.
At CATB our board seeks to ensure that a learning activity is a balanced, unbiased presentation of the most current protocol for techniques, safety and best practices. Furthermore, that standards have been reviewed and approved by practicing medical injectors and trainers in the Canadian industry.
For program providers, it means that they will be viewed as a quality program that has been approved by both experts and practicing medical professionals; and will be recognized by all provincial and territorial regulatory authorities.
For regulators, health systems and all Canadians, CATB accreditation means that medical professionals are able to access high quality continuing education to help ensure they continue to practice at the “top of their game” as medical cosmetic experts.
The Board of Directors approved CATB Strategic Plan 2024-2026 June of 2024.
The three-year plan identifies 5 objectives that support four strategic priorities:
CCAT’s Vision, Mission and Core Values lead us in our Directives:
Vision: Continuing Education with a Global Emphasis on Empowerment and Continued Learning; Guided by the Mandate of Health & Safety for all Canadians
Mission: Ensuring quality continuing education to support medical cosmetic professionals in providing services in Canada
Values: Excellence & Diligence in All We Do, Accountability, Responsibility for all Aspects of Health and Artistry.
